"Rich Girl" from Gwen Stefani and Eve (here's the link: [link]) is a video I truly admire for the pirate theme they've taken.

Recently I re-watched that video and I had the idea of commissioning a crossover picture of my pirate character from my manga project HEART OF WILDFIRE Melandry Rocklander with another pirate character from another existing manga or anime. And being a hardcore fan of One Piece, my choice was clear that to be Nami; like Melandry, she is very fond of gold and money.

I contacted *ATOM-ix after seeing his marvelous gallery and I decided I'd offered myself a commission from him as a Christmas gift.
